I am a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon. I specialize in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.

I qualified in 1996 from the University of Manchester. I had trained in the North West.  Following completion of my training, I  completed a  Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Fellowship  in Melbourne, Australia.

I specialize in open and arthroscopic (keyhole) shoulder and elbow surgery, rotator cuff surgery, shoulder stabilization, upper limb trauma, arthroplasty surgery and treatment of sports injuries.

I have extensive experience within my NHS practice. I have worked in a Major Trauma Centre and tertiary referral centre at Manchester Royal Infirmary. I extensive education experience as an Associate Hospital Dean for the Division of Surgery, undergraduate and post graduate teaching regionally. Since changing roles to Stockport, I continued in a Medical Leadership. 

I am now an Executive Medical Director with in Greater Manchester. I have a passion to provide great medical care to individuals but also aspire to provide great care through my organisation too, I am still actively involved in Post-graduate training of Orthopaedic trainees. 

I offer private consultations at The Highfield Hospital, Rochdale and The Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle during the week.
