Welcome to my Website.

I am a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. I specialize in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.

I qualified in 1996 from the University of Manchester. I completed my basic surgical training at the Royal Preston Hospital in 1999 before joining the North West Orthopaedic rotation in 2001. I had trained in general trauma and Orthopaedics during the initial 5 years and finally concentrated on Shoulder and Elbow surgery in my final year of training.  Following this  I  completed a  Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Fellowship  in Melbourne, Australia.

I specialize in open and arthroscopic (keyhole) shoulder and elbow surgery, rotator cuff surgery, shoulder stabilization, upper limb trauma, arthroplasty surgery and sports injuries.

I consult and practice out of Manchester Royal Infirmary as part of my NHS practice. I am also the Associate Hospital Dean for the Division of Surgery. I have regular commitment to Teaching Medical Students from The University Of Manchester Medical School. I am actively involved in Post-graduate training of Orthopaedic trainees. I lecture on the MSc course at the Salford University.

I also consult at The Highfield Hospital, Rochdale on Monday from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, at The Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle on Tuesday evening 6-8pm and The Bridgewater Hospital, 120 Princess Road, Manchester on Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
